The worst-hit stations are Bandra, Khar Road, Santacruz and Vile Parle. RPF officers said they have deployed more personnel along this stretch specifically to tackle these miscreants.

The RPF has even asked motormen to slow down when entering the platforms, so that the youth can spot officers on duty and desist from their antics. Stall owners at platforms complained of getting injured due to these youth. Sachin Singh, a stall owner at Bandra said, “They throw stones at us. This has been a regular nuisance.”
