(File photo) BJP national secretary Pankaja Munde on Tuesday announced plan to embark on a statewide pilgrimage — Shivshakti — covering important temples in 10 districts from the first week of September 4.
In a recorded video message, Pankaja said, “I am flooded with requests from my followers to come out and work in the field. I would like to inform them that I have taken a two-month break. But I have not stopped my work… I have decided to visit important pilgrimage centres in Maharashtra. It will also provide me an opportunity to meet and greet people.”
Beginning her tour from Grishneshwar temple in Sambhajinagar of Aurangabad, she will visit jyotirlinga and Shakti Peeths in other districts, mainly Nashik, Kolhapur, Satara, Ahmednagar and Pune.
In the message, Pankaja also emphasised that she would give out the details of her itinerary so that those who would like to join her can do so.
