Art meets craft
For her second solo in the country,Boshudhara Mukherjee attempts to merge the gap between art and craft. While painting on the canvas with acrylic and oil,Mukherjee weaves intricate designs into it. The show,titled The Dangling Conversation,is currently on display at Volte Gallery,Colaba.

Musical evening
Live from the Console returns to Mehboob Studio this weekend with a line-up of some very talented Mumbai-based musicians. At 8.15 pm is singer/songwriter Divya Lewis,followed by the Vernon Noronha Band at 9 pm and,to end the night,a performance by Duncun Rufus at 10 pm. Entry is Rs 150.

Will he be able to complete the assignment? Anuvab Pals latest play,a political satire called The Bureaucrat arising out of the uproar in 2011 answers the question.

Discover Mumbai
The third edition of the Know Your Mumbai walks,an initiative started by The Press Club,Mumbai,will be held this Sunday. Participants will have to assemble outside Meherbaan Restaurant,Grant Road station (East),from where they will proceed to explore the places that defined the life of the celebrated short story writer,Saadat Hassan Manto. Registrations are on at The Press Club.
