Artist Nayanaa Kanodia will be showcasing a series of paintings titled ‘A City Wakes Up Inside Me’. Says Kanodia about the exhibition,“Mumbai,the city of dreams and opportunities,was shattered on 26/11. The burning city fired my creativity.” The paintings are a fabulous harmony of yearning and concrete detail. The sculptural surfaces are heavily painted or as the artist puts it,“exhaling their own aroma.”

Shankar Mahadevan will be performing at the Gateway of India at the stroke of sunrise at 6:30 am.
