Phantoms overcame a determined challenge from CCI ‘Rockets’ with a 3-2 win to set up a title clash with P.J. Hindu Gymkhana ‘Oceans Seven,’ who prevailed over Elphinstone Cricket Club ‘Bappachibum’ 3-1 after dropping the opening singles tie. Ronnie Daruwalla won the second doubles tie along with Chirag Mehta and returned to win the crucial fourth singles tie.
