Music producer booked for molesting 13-year-old on sets: Police

According to the police complaint, on Tuesday evening the girl’s family had dropped her at the accused’s workplace for dance practice for a music album.

The accused allegedly inappropriately touched the girl multiple times. Scared, the girl told her parents about it after returning home. Next day, her parents approached the police and filed a complaint against the accused.

The girl’s mother is a teacher. The girl is her daughter from her first husband, the police said.

The police have booked the accused under sections 354 of IPC, and 8 and 12 of POCSO Act.

The police said they will inquire with other children at the production house if the accused also targeted them, another officer said.

Man arrested for molesting nine-year-old girl

The Andheri police have arrested a 30-year-old Mahim resident for allegedly molesting a nine-year-old girl who was playing near her home. The incident took place on December 6. As the accused was not from the area, the police formed multiple teams and finally arrested the accused from Mahim.
