The Executive Committee of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) recently appointed a consortium of Arup Consulting Engineers and KPMG to conduct a techno-economic feasibility study for the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL).
We expect them to complete the study by October next year, said Metropolitan Commissioner Rahul Asthana following the meeting chaired by the chairman of the MMRDA executive committee,Chief Secretary Ratnakar Gaikwad.

We expect the consultants to secure renewal of a few permissions and highlight other ground realities to pave way for the construction of the project as per schedule, said Asthana.
Seven consultancy firms were in the running for the techno-economic feasibility study.
