Minimum temperatures,which continued to stay below normal despite the onset of summer,increased significantly on Wednesday with Colaba recording 24.5 degrees and Santacruz 22.4 degrees. Even though summer patterns had established in the city around March 14,minimum temperatures were still below normal,going as low as 16.2 degrees in Santacruz. However,Wednesday saw a rise in night time temperatures,by almost five degrees from Tuesdays 17.7 degrees in suburbs and more than four degrees above the previous days 21.1 degrees in island city. Day time temperatures were 34.5 degrees in suburbs and 32 degrees in island city.
