Man kills wife & daughter,wounds himself in Nagpur

A spate of murders and suicides continue to shock the city,with yet another double murder within a week on Friday. A man killed his wife and daughter with kitchen knife before critically wounding himself too early on Friday in the Jaripatka locality.

Prakash Shingnapure,38,a grocery show owner,got up around 3 am and started attacking his wife Pranita. When daughter Shreya,13,sleeping near her mother,woke up and started shouting,Prakash stabbed her too. After the two were dead,he stabbed himself.

Hearing the commotion,his brother staying in the neighbourhood rushed and broke the door. He rushed Prakash to Mayo Hospital where he was being operated. His condition is stated to be critical.

A note written by Prakash was found on the spot. It said he wasn’t able to fulfill the family’s needs and nobody else should be held responsible for the act.

A double murder of two history-sheeters had rocked the city earlier this week.
