Man held for killing uncle

A 38-year-old man and his accomplice were arrested by Chembur police on Thursday for allegedly murdering his 80-year-old uncle on Wednesday.

A 38-year-old man and his accomplice were arrested by Chembur police on Thursday for allegedly murdering his 80-year-old uncle on Wednesday. The two were arrested after the victim’s son,Sunil,approached the police saying that his father had been murdered over a property dispute. The accused,identified as Sunil Salve (38) and Ramesh Ubale (32),have been charged with the murder of Sidharth Colony resident Laxman Salve. “The accused were produced in court on Friday and have been remanded in police custody until April 26,” B B Rathod SI of Chembur police said.
