Irrigation Scam: Jan Manch submits documents to ACB, flags ‘discrepancies’

'The papers relate to the period from 2008-10.'

Jan Manch, a social organisation, submitted over 3,100 papers to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), probing the irrigation scam in the state, claiming it proves many wrongdoing in the award of contract for a particular work in Gosikhurd irrigation project in Vidarbha.

Anil Killor, convenor of the organisation, said, “The papers are regarding the tender process of the work and can serve as a test case for ACB to follow up on other similar cases. It will make their job easy with regard to what to look for in those cases.” The papers relate to the period from 2008-10, said Killor.
