Among the patrons of designer duo Abu-Sandeeps works,Dame Judi Dench is a loyal one. The actress showed up at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards on February 12 in a dress designed by the duo. Dench,who was nominated for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award for her part in
My Week With Marilyn,wore a delicate off-white chikankari dress,which was embellished with sequins. Dench has worn Abu-Sandeep creations several times in the past also at various red carpet events. A big fan of the traditional Lucknowi chikankari work,she was last seen in an Abu-Sandeep creation in 2006 at the Academy Awards.
