CBI unearths Rs 50 lakh more in Bali’s accounts
The CBI,which arrested Chief Postmaster General for Maharashtra and Goa Manjit Singh Bali while allegedly accepting a Rs 2-crore bribe,has unearthed his eight more bank accounts with a deposit of Rs 50 lakh. CBI Additional Commissioner Abhin Modak said the accounts were in Faridabad and Gwalior.

Nariman Pt-Cuffe Parade link cleared
The state government has cleared the last stretch of sea link from Nariman Point to Cuffe Parade. The decision was taken on Thursday at a meeting of the cabinet sub-committee on infrastructure. Nariman Point and Cuffe Parade will now be ‘aligned’ through a connecting link road to ease traffic on the 1.42-km stretch. The committee had given the go-ahead to award the contract for the Worli-Haji Ali Sea Link to a consortium led by Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. The panel had also approved the proposed alignment of the final arm of the Western Freeway project,the contentious Haji Ali-Nariman Point extension.
