IIT-Bombay’s annual science fest to begin tomorrow

The tech-innovations on display at the exhibitions will include the Unitree G1 humanoid bot from China, Robo DJ from Japan among other international line-ups.

The three-day annual science and technology festival of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Techfest, is set to begin Tuesday.
Like every year, the festival will include an impressive set of exhibitions of tech-innovations along with a list of notable speakers for the lecture series.

Some of the speaker attractions are Chairman Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Dr. Samir V Kamat, Director of Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), ISRO A. Rajarajan, Former Chief Justice of India NV Ramana, Director of Adani Airport Holdings Ltd Jeet Adani, lead scientist at LIGO, Caltech – John E. Brian O’Reilly and Ananya Birla, entrepreneur and singer.

The tech-innovations on display at the exhibitions will include the Unitree G1 humanoid bot from China, Robo DJ from Japan among other international line-ups. Whereas, tech-connect will feature an impressive array of exhibits from various academic units, including working models, demos, and products that underscore institute’s technological advancements.

Some of the common attractions of the Techfest, including competitions such as Robowars, Drone Show. E-Sports tournaments among others will continue this year too along with Technoholix which assures a unique entertainment to the audience with use of technology.
