A leading legal luminary and senior member of the Bombay High Court bar,K K Singhvi died of cardiac arrest at his Lonavala farmhouse on Saturday morning.

A leading legal luminary and senior member of the Bombay High Court bar,K K Singhvi (87) died of cardiac arrest at his Lonavala farmhouse on Saturday morning. He had also been battling with prostrate cancer for over four years. The last rites were performed at the Chandanwadi crematorium.

MCOCA Judge Shinde transferred

Just days after Special MCOCA Judge Yatin D Shinde concluded examination of 187 witnesses in the July 11,2006 serial train blast case,he has been transferred to Nashik Sessions court. Shinde was a notified Judge under the special MCOCA Act and also the designated court to conduct trials in cases handled by the NIA.
