H.E.A.L takes lead

Swimmers stroke to medal winning performances at the Maharashtra State Meet

In the Maharashtra State 40th Junior & 30th Sub-Junior Meet Cum State and Aquatic Championship held between 6 to 9 June in Pune,as many as ten athletes under the guidance of the H.E.A.L training schedule brought home gold,silver and bronze medals,in multiple categories,reaching new heights in the sport at the event.

Of the ten winning swimmers at the event,Aakanksha Vora,who has been making waves over many months,added three gold medals to her already rich collection of accolades. She won in the 400 & 1500 mts. Freestyle,400mts. Individual Medley,and 4X100mts. Freestyle and Medley Relay. She also added to her name a silver medal in the 800mts. Freestyle category.

Another performer to watch out for was Ishaan Jaffer who performed brilliantly,winning three gold medals in the 200,400,800 & 1500 mts. Freestyle,400mts. Individual Medley and 4X100 Medley and Freestyle Relays.

Vedant Rao and Muskan Tolani also joined the three-gold medal club with some brilliant strokes. While Vedant won gold in Freestyle Relay,Medley Relay and 400,800 & 1500mts. Freestyle,Muskan managed to strike gold in the 50 & 100mts. Breast Stroke,200mts Individual Medley and 4X100mts. Medley and Freestyle Relay. There was also a silver medal waiting for Vedant in the200mts. Freestyle category and a bronze medal for Muskan in the category of 100mts. Back Stroke.
