Goats,sheep seized from MSV Yusufi to be sent back

Mumbai Police will return the surviving goats and sheep seized from MSV Yusufi to Dubai. The animals were being kept at Mumbai Port Trust. Police also received the preliminary forensic report on plastic envelopes found in the guts some of the animals. “FSL report ruled out presence of any explosives,” said Krishna Prakash,additional commissioner of police (south region). Of the 32 goats and sheep seized,only 26 survive,said police. “The magistrate will decide what to do with the smuggled goods. The next hearing is on June 3,” said H G Shinde,assistant commissioner of police,Yellowgate division.
