The ever-growing list of designer boutiques in Bandra and Khar just got longer. Atosa,a venture by Aparna Badlani and Azmina Rahimtoola,opened on Wednesday evening. Located in a quiet lane in Anant Vihar,Khar,this is their second store together,after their first,Zoya,shut down recently.
A modern bungalow converted into a boutique,Atosa is the sort of store one would walk into to buy an
entire outfit. Creations by some of the best-known Indian designers adorn the racks,and are complemented by elegant handbags,shoes,clutches and statement jewellery.
A section of the store is dedicated to Priyadarshini Rao with a collection of her dresses and tunics on sale. Among others,Nachiket Barve showcases his Spring Summer 2011 Collection,which comprises some lovely dresses and drapes in shades of red and blue. Sabbah Sharma presents bright dresses and jumpsuits in shades of yellow and orange. Shivangis ethnic wear in white and black too are on display at Atosa.
This time around,the owners introduce
a mix of East Asian designers to their customers. Designs by Desmond Yang,All Dressed Up and Chai Gold are on sale too.
