Stringent charge sought against Salman Khan in hit-n-run case

The prosecution on Monday moved an application before the Bandra magistrate court seeking enhancement of charges against actor Salman Khan in the 2002 Bandra hit and run case.The prosecution has sought permission to apply IPC’s Section 304 II,which is triable in a sessions court with a maximum punishment of 10 years. Salman is currently booked under section 304 (A) for rash and negligent act which attracts a maximum punishment of 2 years.
