Fashion finale
Day three,the last day of the Seagrams Blenders Pride fashion tour,saw yet another influx of celebrities,most of whom seemed to have turned up merely to walk the ramp. Vikram Phadnis show was graced by a radiant Sushmita Sen and cricketer Yusuf Pathan who seemed a bit out of place on the runway. For something that is supposed to be a Fashion tour,we saw plenty of badly dressed people at the Taj Lands End on the evening of Sunday,September 5. Sameera Reddy looked a bit vampish in an all-black Neeta Lulla creation. While Neeta herself sported an offensive outfit with random designs. Daughter Nishika Lulla had coma-inducing roses all over her dress,compensated by metallic glitter. Actor Tejaswini Kolhapuri looked cute with a pink tube top and white jeans,but we arent convinced that does justice to an event centred around fashion. Manasi Scott,the singer/actor,looked stunning in a simple black dress that was accessoried with an array of green and was one of the few people who didnt get carried away with prints and glitter.
Bummer: The event and after-party simply didnt attract enough A-listers within the fashion industry,let alone outside.
