Cancer patient dies at airport

A 63-year-old woman collapsed while checking-in at terminal 1 B of the domestic airport early Saturday morning. The airport authorities summoned a doctor who pronounced her dead after examining her. According to a Mumbai airport spokesperson,Padmakumar Burlakoti was to board a Jetlite flight to Delhi with her son and daughter when the incident occurred. “Burlakoti’s children informed the authorities that she was suffering from cancer,” he said.
