Suchitra Krishnamoorthi can be termed as a Jack of all trades. Right from acting,singing to now writing she has tried her luck at possibly everything under the sun but she hasnt really managed to master any of her crafts. On Sunday,Mumbaikars got a taste of her storytelling talent,when Crossword and Penguin Books India launched her first book The Summer of Cool. The first book in the Swapnalok Society series from Puffin,the book is a hip,funny story about friends,family and finding true love. At the launch,Suchitra said,It will be loved by readers of all ages. To show their support and appreciation,Suchitras friends Dolly Thakore,Madhoo,Sanjay Gupta,Nisha Jamvwal and Raageshwari made it to the launch and were seen cheering.

Showstopper Her ex-husband Shekhar Kapur was there to lend his support.
