Bollywood actor Preity Zinta purchased a Rs 17 crore flat in Bandra on Monday. According to the property registration documents accessed through IndexTap.com, Preity paid Rs 85 lakh as stamp duty fees for the property.

The flat, located on the eleventh floor of the tower named ‘Parishram’ in Bandra West is sold by Keystone Realtors Limited. The seller and Preity did not respond to an email seeking their comments.

Bollwyood celebs have been on a property-buying spree in the financial capital of India. In April this year, actor Alia Bhatt bought a Rs 37.8 crore apartment in Pali Hill of Bandra, while Salman Khan rented his commercial property located in Santacruz for a period of 60 months, priced at a rental amount of Rs 90 lakh per month.

Real estate experts believe as property prices have increased significantly in recent past in Mumbai, several high net worth individuals are not just buying property for residential purposes, but also for their high return value and investment opportunities.
