Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis Tuesday asked party MLAs and MPs to actively participate in the door-to-door outreach programme, “ghar chalo abhiyan”, of the state unit of the BJP. “I have taken the initiative to reach out personally to 500 families. It is my request to all elected representatives and ministers to set aside some time to reach out to people,” Fadnavis said while addressing the BJP workers at party headquarters in Mumbai. “The improved living standard of poor after implementation of Garib Kalyan Yojna, India's higher ranking in economic front globally, overall growth and development by Modi government should be apprised to people through door-to-door campaign,” he added. On Tuesday, as Prime Minister Modi addressed ten lakh booth workers from Bhopal at the “Mera Booth, Sabse Mazbooth” event, Fadnavis led the state unit which participated in the event virtually. “Modi leadership has taken helped India earn the place of pride globally. Our PM has connect with people. They have reposed faith in his leadership and look upto him both in India and abroad,” Fadnavis said. “In the last nine years, welfare schemes have benefitted the needy and poor. The government has generously allocated funds to states for infrastructure projects,” he added.
