Air India plane crash: Kin of NCP leader Tatkare among crew members

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Maharashtra chief Sunil Tatkare’s relative Aparna Mahadik was one of the senior crew members of the Air India flight that crashed in Ahmedabad.
Mahadik, 42, the daughter-in-law of Tatkare’s younger sister, was a resident of Mumbai’s Goregaon. The Raigad Lok Sabha MP, who was in Mumbai, left for Mahadik’s house after the news.
“Aparna is the daughter-in-law of my younger sister. The family lives in Goregaon,” Tatkare said, while leaving for Mahadik’s house.
“My nephew, Aparna’s husband, is also an Air India cabin crew. He was in Delhi. The Mahadik family has been informed about the tragedy.”
