A Sena functionary said that Aaditya was invited by Kamal Nath to attend the statue unveiling event.

Considering the large number of Marathi-speaking population in Madhya Pradesh’s nine districts, Aaditya’s visit gains larger significance in the state which is going for state assembly polls in a few months.

The Sena UBT is in alliance with the Congress in the state and the country. The undivided Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray had fielded its candidates for the state assembly elections in 2013 and 2018 but failed to win any seats.
