A Western music concert,Dream Catchers, was held by students of Arpeggios, one of the leading music academies of the city. It was the first time Ludhiana saw a musical evening at Punjabi Bhawan conducted by school children on such a scale. Children performed melodies of vocal and Instrumental music. The crowd was joyous when the band of small children performed Knocking on Heavens Door,Rasputin and Hotel California. Rock On was the hot favourite and Jugalbandi was appreciated by all. It was a proud moment for Albert John, founder of the Arpeggios music factory,to see his students perform live in front of such a big audience. His mother Triza John was overwhelmed with tears to see her son’s dream come true. Chief Guest Dr Livtar Singh Chawla honoured the kids and three great Musicians Balbir,Jatinder Pal Singh and Prof Harcharan Singh, well recognised for vocal, tabla and the violin respectively.
