A thirty-year-old man was reportedly stabbed to death near the Bapu Asaram Ashram on the southern bypass on Friday evening. The deceased was identified as Pritpal Singh. Two men Gurpreet Singh and Jagmohan Singh,both residents of Khanpur village have been arrested. According to the police,Pritpal had misbehaved with Gurpreets sister at a wedding a month ago and Gurpreet wanted to avenge the incident. In another incident,the body of a 42-year-old man was found on Churpur road on Friday morning. The person had been attacked with a sharp-edged weapon on the neck and had died from the wounds.
