Two arrested for 22-year-old’s murder

The court remanded Santosh Kumar in two-day police custody, while his minor brother-in-law was sent to juvenile home on judicial remand.

They confessed to the crime and said that Deepu was strangled to death and his body was later thrown into the acid pool. Inspector Vinod Kumar, SHO at police station Koomkalan said the accused have told the police that they had gone to attend a party on Friday.

While dancing they entered into a scuffle with Deepu and later murdered him.
