Transporters give memo to Gurjar

As part of their ongoing stir,protesting transporters took out a march till Deputy Commissioner Sumer Singh Gurjar’s office and submitted their charter of demands. Transporters of Mumbai and West Bengal,meanwhile,have called off their strike. Sources revealed the industry in Ludhiana and its periphery is also hiring private vehicles to get their products across the country.

However officially,the strike is still continuing in Punjab.
