Prof. John W Palfreyman,Head of School of Contemporary Sciences,Dundee,Scotland,visited Punjab Agricultural University (PAU),on Monday to discuss potential areas of collaboration. The university with its world class infrastructure and research material is recognised world over due to its significant role in green revolution,said Prof. Palfreyman. He showed keen interest for collaborating with PAU in strengthening education in the areas of food technology,food nutrition and health,food product designs,food biotechnology,agricultural biotechnology,soil sciences and environment. Prof. Palfreyman also visited the School of Agricultural Biotechnology,crop experimental area,Department of Foods and Nutrition,Department of Processing and Food Engineering,Electron Microscopy and Nano-science Lab,etc. He said that an MoU will be signed for collaboration in the identified areas.
