Students excel in BCA III year
On Friday,Panjab University declared results for BCA III year. In Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women,Mani stood first with 81 per cent,Meenu Ahni stood second with 79 per cent and Kanika was third with 78 per cent. At Devki Devi Jain Memorial College,Mamta Rani stood first with 80.7 per cent,Richa Jain stood second with 80.08% per cent,Roshni Gautam stood third with 78.83% per cent. At Guru Nanak Girls College Model Town,Harjaspreet Kaut stood first with 77.58 per cent,Shilpa Rani scored 75.45% per cent and Stephy was third with 74.2% per cent. Students of this college also brought laurels with 100% result in MBE first semester. Babneet Kaur and Sukhwindeer Kaur,both bagged ninth position in the university and first in the college.
Handwriting workshop begins
Institute of Healthy Handwriting,Chandigarh,will organise a two day handwriting improvement workshop for students of all grades at Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School,College Road,Civil Lines. Te workshop is being conducted by handwriting expert Mohan Ray,who is a pioneer of healthy handwriting. He has developed first of its kind handwriting improvement system (magical methodology) that can help people to improve handwriting in just few hours. Ray is the first man in India inviting doctors,teachers,professionals from different field to improve their handwriting in just few hours. He is (Master in Education)n and certified by handwriting expert Kate Gladstone of USA
Mega dental camp held
The two days free mega dental check up camp at Dr Atamjeets Smile Care Centre BRS Nagar was inaugurated by Dr Bhagwant Singh,vice-president of Asia Pacific Dental Federation. In the camp different specialists of dentistry like implants and orthodontics will be available for consultation.
