More than 500 dogs of various breeds with their masters from all over India participated in the dog show which was organised by the Ludhiana Kennels Club at the Punjab Agricultural University grounds on Sunday. There were two shows and dogs were judged on the basis of body proportion,head size,body movements and other factors. Sham Mehta from Kennel Club of India,New Delhi,and Joginder Singh Powar from KCI,Bengaluru,were the judges for the show. In the first show,German Shepherd dog of Harchand Singh from Patiala was adjudged the best while in the second show,the winner was Great Dane dog owned by Sanjay Kapoor from New Delhi. Inderpal Singh from KCI,Ludhiana,told Newsline,The show got an excellent response with entries from all over India. It will be organised next year as well.
