For water,villagers block road

Protesting against disrupted water supply,villagers from Bhattiyan blocked traffic on th eBhattiyan-Bahadur Ke road on Monday. The village has reportedly not been receiving water for the last four days due to a dysfunctional transformer. Harbans Singh,former sarpanch said that the administration ‘did not listen to them despite several complaints and thus they were forced to protest.’ A few hours following protest,transformer was made functional.
