Five local printers win awards

Five Ludhiana printers have bagged National Awards for Excellence in Printing,recognised by the Government of India. These awards are instituted by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP).

The awards were presented by Javed Akhtar at a recent award ceremony in Pune. Competition for the quality printing is organised every year by the AIFMP and the eighth edition of these awards was hosted by the Pune Press Owners’ Association. There are more than 53 categories and the competition is spread throughout the country,according to Parveen Aggarwal,president of Offset Printers Association.

Following are the winners from Ludhiana:

Kamal Printers won 1 gold,1 silver and a Certificate of Merit

Active Print and Stick won 1 silver

Swastik Knitwears won 1 silver

Cranial Printers won 1 Certificate of Merit

Print Masters won 1 Certificate of Merit
