Cleanliness contest at Mini-Secretariat to be a feature

The dingy premises of the various branches under Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Rahul Tiwari’s office were given a sparkling look on Monday. All part of a cleanliness competition held for offices in the Mini-Secretariat,the event was sponsored by Avon Cycles. DC Tiwari inspected around 12 offices and awarded the Nazar branch,which deals with billing,the first prize. The staff were handed over a cash prize of a Rs 10,000. The DC said the competition would encourage the staff to keep their offices clean. He said the event would be a regular feature from now — to be held every month.
