32-year-old commits suicide at in-laws place in Ludhiana

On Tuesday evening, Harjinder went there and couple had a heated argument following which he consumed poison.

A 32-year-old identified as Harjinder Singh committed suicide by consuming poison at his in-laws place at Chitti colony, Bhattian late on Tuesday.

Although the victim was rushed to Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), he died undergoing treatment.

Reportedly, he was married two years back but the couple was having a troubled relationship. His wife was living at her parents’ home since few months.

On Tuesday evening, Harjinder went there and couple had a heated argument following which he consumed poison.

The Ladowal Police filed the proceedings under section 174 of CrPC following the statement of Rajinder Singh, brother of the deceased and investigation was on till the filing of this report.
