Two women studying in a degree college in Bulandshahr have accused two of their friends of gangrape.
According to the police,the women have alleged that their two friends,Deepak and Jeetendra alias Jeetu,lured them to their rented accommodation at NRI City in Greater Noida on Friday and then called two other men and gangraped them.
The police have arrested Deepak,Jeetu and Prashant while another accused,Vikki,is absconding. The women have been sent for medical examination,the police said.
The police said the victims lodged a complaint on Saturday morning after they managed to escape from the apartment. In their complaint,the women said they were lured into to the apartment by their friends,who later called two other men who the women did not know. The victims accused all four men of raping them,the police said.
According to the police,Deepak is pursing a course in animation at Arena Multimedia in Delhi and Jeetu worked as a sales manager in Reliance till a week ago. Prashant is pursuing BBA from IMT,Ghaziabad. All accused are between 19 years and 20 years of age,the police said.
According to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Surendra Verma,search for the fourth accused is on. We have informed the parents of the girls as well, he said.
