Reason: they have to complete the survey of slums in the next one week,as according to sources, the government has decided to give the lease of slum land to dwellers on February 10.
Slum land will be provided to dwellers under the Sarvajan Hitay Garib Avas Malikana Haq Yojna, announced by Mayawati on her 53rd birthday on January 15. The scheme promises land ownership right to slum-dwellers across the state.
