“I play a nurse assigned to take care of a patient who is a crime suspect,” says Udita in Lucknow for film promotion. Dubbing her role as simple but with twists and turns,Udita warns fans against expecting steamy scenes.

“Though you won’t be disappointed entirely with my character in the film,don’t expect a high dose of sensuality,” she says,promising on the other hand a liberal dose of hot action.

“Nothing has been forced into the narrative of the film,” asserts the sultry siren who got instant recognition from films like Paap and Zeher.

“More than bike and babes,it would be the film’s rustic action that would keep the audience’s interest intact throughout the film,” says Udita,who was last seen in the horror film Rokkk.

“On the face of it,Chase may appear similar to Rokkk,but it is a much different and gripping movie,” says Udita,claiming all her roles have been different. “Though I have worked in a few films,all have been an important roles,” says Udita credited with a decent record of professionalism.

Announcing that she is on a signing spree,Udita promises fans would see her more in the coming years. “I am planning to work more now,” she says listing her forthcoming projects that include The Man with Sunny Deol and Shilpa Shetty and Hello India with Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta.

Tired of doing thrillers,the actress is looking forward to a change. “I would like to do a comedy next,” she says.

Ask her of her dream role and you can’t miss the glint in her eyes.

“Umrao Jaan for sure,” she chuckles adding: “the one played by Rekha.”

“But I am sure,it would remain a dream,” she says asserting that after Aishwarya who would ask her to play the role.

“She had done it beautifully,Sushmita can do it better and Madhuri Dixit would have been perfect for it,” she opines.

Hoping her latest movie will attract audience,Udita signs off with a reason fan should ‘chase’ her to the theatre. “It’s an action packed thriller and such films are always entertaining.”
