“Our initial response was to back off… but then,we felt it was an opportunity to be seen by the world,so we let the cameras roll on everything we do,” chuckled Gauhar,in Lucknow on Thursday to speak about Khan Sisters,the 13-episode to go on air on UTVbindaas from next week. The shows follows the lives of the two sisters,as they go about their daily tasks and delves into what keeps them and the family together.

Besides,Gauhar’s assignments in the film and fashion world and Nigaar’s in the TV serials leaves them with little time to spend on or with each other. “It was an opportunity not only to be with each other but also share moments on camera with family and friends. We loved every moment of it and the viewers are in for a great time,we are sure,” chirped Gauhar.

The crew members vouch for the sisters saying there’s not a dull moment between them and the camera just has to keep rolling.

“Not just the two of us…we are four sisters and a brother and our mother says we are like the five fingers of her hand meant to stay united always. Credit goes to our mother for the inseparable bond we share,” said Nigaar,the elder one,mentioning that Gauhar is a born star. “Everytime there was a photo-op,she would be the one striking a starry pose. I just happened to be an actor,” she said.
