Shalabh takes Unity Academy into Annapurna Trophy final

Shalabh’s 90 came off 80 balls which featured eight boundaries and four lofty sixes. Sandeep Srivastava (64) and SM Mehdi (58) also batted well for the team.

Batting first,Unity Academy scored 261 runs losing four wickets in the given 40 overs. In reply,DYA Club was bowled out at a total of 102 runs in 28.4 overs. In the last quarter-final of the same tournament,impressive all-round efforts from Akshdeep Nath (76 not out; 5 for 25) helped LDACC in defeating NRCA by ten wickets.

ASCA triumphs

ABHIJEET Sinha Cricket Academy (ASCA) defeated CTFI by 80 runs in the two day final of the ASCA State Challenger Trophy cricket tournament played at Avadh College grounds,Lucknow.

World Cup trophy

THE ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Trophy will be showcased at KD Singh Babu Stadium,Lucknow at 3.00 pm on Thursday. A signature campaign will also be organised on the occasion.
