Students of La Martiniere Girls College and of Indian Institute of Management,Lucknow were in for a melodic treat as santoor player Abhay Rustum Sopori, son of Padmashri Bhajan Sopori,regaled them with the mellifluos notes of his instruments,on a rainy Tuesday. The concert was organised by Society for Promotion of Indian Culture and Music Among Youth (SPICMACAY) so,it was on the lecture-demonstration pattern. He opened his performance at LMGC with Raag Ahir Bhairav and ended it with a rhapsodic jhaala. After that he acquainted the eager patrons with the finer points of Hindustani classical music.

At IIM-L,students from first and second year students,some of them even trained in classical music ,enjoyed the recital.
