PAC personnel guard pradhans relatives

Armed PAC personnel have been deployed at slain village pradhan Nanhey Yadavs house at Balipur village in Pratapgarh district following the CBIs recommendation to ensure security for the pradhans brothers and son.

The brothers and son are witnesses in the murder cases of the pradhan,his brother Suresh and CO Ziaul Haque. The murders took place on March 2.

Sources said the pradhans relatives are not just witnesses in the triple murders,but the role of the pradhans brothers Phoolchand,Pawan and Sudhir and son in the COs murder was also being investigated.

When contacted,pradhans brother Sudhir said that 15 armed PAC personnel were deployed at their house and they had been instructed to venture out with policemen. He also said the CBI team had visited their house today and questioned his brother Pawan regarding the presence of some villagers when the mob attacked the police team after the pradhan was shot dead.

Pawan was also asked about some labourers who were present at the spot where his brother Nanhey was shot. Pawan,however,failed to give details,added Sudhir.

Sudhir said he was at his rented room in Allahabad when Nanhey was shot. He had reached his native place around 11 pm,by which time his brother Suresh and the CO had died.
