BSP chief Mayawati on Monday said that the bulldozing of relief camps set up for riot victims in Muzaffarnagar and Shamli,by the Samajwadi Party government during winter is very inhumane. In a statement issued by the party this evening, she said the people affected by riots, who have lost their houses and property because of the governments inaction, have now been left helpless in the harsh winter by removing the relief camps where they are staying to save their lives. She alleged that the riots which were the result of a conspiracy between the SP and the BJP,have created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity among the Muslims. Mayawati also alleged the state government is not initiating strict action against people accused of inciting riots and is instead rubbing salt on the wounds of victims, the way BJP government did to Muslims in Gujarat.
