Lucknow University will hold elections for students union in the third week of October. The university wants to begin the process for the elections from October 10/11. According to a press release issued by the university,the final dates for election schedule will be announced only after consultation with the Lucknow district administration. The university has suggested three dates October 18,19 and 20 for holding the students union polls. The decision was taken on Saturday following a meeting of top university authorities,including Vice-Chancellor Manoj Kumar Mishra,Pro Vice-Chancellor U N Dwivedi,Proctor,and others in evening.
