The CBI will be taking Lucknow jail’s jailor Bheem Singh Mukund and head warder Babu Ram Dubey to the agency’s Central Forensic Science Lab in Delhi for a polygraph test on Saturday.

The CBI had sought permission from the court of Special Magistrate (CBI) Kamesh Shukla on December 2 to conduct the test on seven jail officials in Deputy CMO Dr YS Sachan murder case.

The seven of them included jailor Mukund, deputy jailor Sunil Kumar Singh, head warder Dubey and warders Pahendra Singh,Ram Narayan Tiwari,Anil Kumar Tripathi and Sunil Giri.

A CBI official said they had sought time from Delhi CFSL and the experts had told them the test can be conducted on two persons at one go. In order to begin the procedure, they will be leaving with jailor Mukund and head warder Dubey first for the test,he added.

He also said that Mukund and Dubey are being taken for the test first,as both of them were the first ones to reach the spot of Sachan’s death. Sachan was found dead in an unused toilet of the jail with serious injuries and his body was found hanged with a belt on June 22.

During interrogation before the CBI,the duo had denied their role in getting the victim’s body shifted to the corridor from the toilet.
