Inter-School Chess from July 17

The B&W Chess Club will be organising an Inter-School Junior Chess Championship at Modern World School,Aliganj,Lucknow from July 17 to 20. The tournament is being sponsored by the Awadh Industrial Training Centre,Gomtinagar and carries a prize money of Rs 15,000. As per press release from the organisers,the under-19 juniors may send their entries to Arif Ali (mobile. no: 9839928008) and Junaid Ahmad (mobile no: 9935416903) by July 16. Spot entries will be accepted at the venue from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Yorker Academy defeated Square Chargers by six wickets in their league match of the St. Ann’s Friendship Cup at NR Stadium,Lucknow on Tuesday.
