Maharashtra Minister for Textiles,Minority and Ex-servicemen Affairs Naseem Khan on Sunday blamed the successive non-Congress governments in Uttar Pradesh for rise in migration from the state in recent times to more developed ones like Maharashtra in search of livelihood.

‘Non-Cong govts in UP responsible for migration’

Maharashtra Minister for Textiles,Minority and Ex-servicemen Affairs Naseem Khan on Sunday blamed the successive non-Congress governments in Uttar Pradesh for rise in migration from the state in recent times to more developed ones like Maharashtra in search of livelihood. “Caste and communal politics of the successive non-Congress governments of Uttar Pradesh has led to dearth of job opportunities and development forcing people to migrate to states like Maharashtra”,Khan told reporters.
Khan,who belongs to Akbarpur in UP,said there has been no development in his village and district.

Anticipatory bail: Panel submits report

Bahujan Samaj Party national general secretary and chairman of the State Advisory Council,S C Mishra,on Sunday submitted a report Chief Minister Mayawati regarding the restoration of anticipatory bail in the state. On May 4,Mayawati had constituted a committee to consider the restoration of the system.
