SP MLA booked for attempt to murder
Mahrajganj: Samajwadi Party legislator Sripat Azad was booked for attempt to murder on Monday after a woman,whom he had allegedly set ablaze last week,died at a hospital in Gorakhpur,said Superintendent of Police Ram Swarup. Raids are being conducted at Gorakhpur,Lucknow,Nepal border and Bihar to arrest Azad,who represents the Sadar constituency in the state assembly. Six of his relatives have been detained for questioning,the SP said.

ISKCON-Ansals API to build centre for spiritualism
LUCKNOW: Ansal API has entered into an agreement with the International Society for Sri Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) to set up a centre for spiritualism in Lucknow. According to executive director (operations) of Ansals,API Ramesh Yadav,a temple and a meditation centre will be ready within two years.
